Healthy Nutrition and Myasthenics

Managing and focusing on good, nutritional meals will help MG patients live a better quality of life. Dr. Nagar will provide important tips and suggestions to monitor and maintain healthy nutrition.

Dr. Nagar's bio: Charu Nagar MD is a neuromuscular physician at Northwestern medicine Lake Forest and a health system clinician at Northwestern University Feinberg school of medicine.

She is a fellowship trained neuromuscular physician from Washington University in St. Louis and residency from Loyola University Maywood Chicago with a focus on clinical neuromuscular disorders.

Her special interest and focus is on myasthenia gravis, treatment goals patient education and empowerment.

Compassion and empathetic patient care have always been the most important to her in the practice of medicine along with cutting edge treatment algorithms based off of science. She recently received Dr. Michael Schafer award for patient first attitude for devotion to patient care throughout the NM system.
