"Her fight is my fight."
That's what's written on the side of Chase Dewberry's stock car. It represents a commitment – to stand by his wife, Kayla, as she lives every day with the debilitating neuromuscular disease myasthenia gravis.
Chase races in the late model sportsman class, on dirt tracks near the couple’s home in Mississippi. Chase and Kayla grew up going to the track, but Chase only recently got behind the wheel himself.
To raise awareness of the disease that has deeply impacted her life, Chase has created a one-of-a-kind fundraiser, debuting in June during MG Awareness Month.
Family, friends, community members, and racing fans are invited to make a gift to the MGFA through the couple's fundraising page.
Everyone who makes a gift to the fundraiser has a chance to win a Chase Dewberry racing t-shirt, cap, and koozie.
The couple hopes this incentive will drive (pun intended) gifts to support the MGFA’s mission and our fight for better treatments and a cure.
Join the fight against MG – make a gift to Chase and Kayla's fundraiser – or start a fundraiser of your own this MG Awareness Month.
