CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Abstract Deadline: January 17, 2022, 5:00 pm Eastern
MGFA is seeking MG research abstracts for the 14th MGFA International Conference on Myasthenia and Related Disorders in the categories of:
- Clinical Research,
- Basic/Translational.
Encore abstracts will be accepted. Please follow the guidelines provided below and in the Abstract Management System.
You can submit an abstract HERE.
NOTIFICATIONS of acceptance will be sent out March 1, 2022.
Abstract preparation guidelines:
- Abstract Presenters are required to attend the International Myasthenia Gravis conference to present their poster or presentation
- Additional authors cannot be added after abstract submission.
- Submission of an abstract does not automatically register you for the MGFA International Meeting.
- Maximum Word Count: 250
- Graphs and references are NOT allowed in the abstract. They can be added to the poster or presentation.
- Please minimize the use of acronyms. Do not use abbreviations except related to MG (MG, MuSK, AChr, LRP4, etc).
- Do NOT use any abbreviations in the title of the abstract.
- There is a limit of 15 authors per abstract. NO Exceptions.
- We recommend that you write and edit your summary in a plain text processor and then cut and paste into the submission form.
- No references should be cited or included in the abstract. You may include references on your poster.

For decades, clinicians and scientists have attended the MGFA’s conference to share the latest findings in the field. It is a gathering of expert minds, both experienced researchers and up-and-coming practitioners.
MGFA is committed to hosting this program as a pillar of our mission-aligned goal to spearhead and support promising research on myasthenia gravis.
