Hosted by the MGFA, this influential gathering is a prominent opportunity for neuromuscular researchers and medical professionals to present their work and hear from accomplished peers from around the world. The 15th conference was the first to take place outside of the United States. Over 240 scientific papers were presented, and sessions included hot topics in the field such as novel treatments, non-pharmaceutical interventions, new models to study MG, and the etiology of MG.
We gratefully acknowledge our Steering Committee for their leadership in planning the conference agenda and and our industry partners for their impactful support. The 15th International Conference was curated as a three-day journey to the future of MG. Each day featured a renowned plenary keynote speaker followed by a variety of sessions, talks, panels, roundtable discussions, and interactive debates.

MGFA Lifetime Achievement Award
At the conference, the MGFA was proud to present the inaugural MGFA Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr. Angela Vincent, FmedSci, FRS, a pioneering force in myasthenia gravis research in the United Kingdom and worldwide. Dr. Vincent has been at the forefront of MG research for more than 50 years. Her achievements and impactful discoveries are numerous, including key insights on AChR MG, MuSK MG, seronegative MG, and thymoma-associated MG.
Th MGFA Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes a distinguished scientist, scholar, or clinician who has made major contributions in the field of myasthenia gravis. Honorees have spent 25+ years of their career dedicated to the area of neurology, immunology, or genetics, leading to impactful advancement
