MG Walk

The MG Walk is dedicated to creating awareness, renewing hope, and generating a vast network of community and support, all while raising important funds for the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America (MGFA). The MG Walk puts the power directly into the hands of MG patients and allows everyone battling this illness to become the driving force behind funding for MG research, and ultimately, find a cure.

In addition to fundraising, the MG Walk also allows people living with MG to open up and discuss their journey in a safe and nurturing environment, many for the first time, while experiencing an overwhelming sense of community from their loved ones and fellow MG patients. Join us as we come together to raise vital funds that go to support the tens of thousands of Americans who live with this rare disease every day.

Register to enter the fight against MG now! You can join an existing team or start your own! All that’s left is to personalize your fundraising page, share your connection to MG, and tell your story of why you have joined the fight to stop MG…one step at a time. Join the MG Walk

Workplace Giving

One of the easiest ways to support the MGFA is through workplace giving.  Many national and local corporations offer their employees an opportunity to make a charitable donation through payroll deductions.

For Employees

Community Health Charities

If your employer partners with Community Health Charities (CHC), look for the “Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America” on their designation form or ask your program administrator for help.

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) #11240

Federal government employees and members of the U.S. Military Forces can support the MGFA through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) by designating their contribution to (CFC) #11240.

Independent Employer Campaigns

If your employer offers an independent campaign, ask your program administrator how to designate your gift to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America.

United Way

If your employer offers a United Way program, ask your administrator how you can designate your gift to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America.

Matching Gifts

Many employers sponsor “matching gift” programs — meaning they will match the charitable contributions made by their employees.  Some companies will also match funds raised through events like the MG Walk or recognize volunteer hours with a donation. Find out if your company has a matching gift policy.

For Employers

Strengthen employee engagement by demonstrating your company’s commitment to health, corporate social responsibility and charitable giving. Offer employees an opportunity to support charities about which they feel passionate.

Community Health Charities

The MGFA also participates in Community Health Charities (CHC).  Find out how CHC can help you set up an annual employee giving campaign in your workplace — or enhance an existing program.
