Curious about the latest resources, medical advances, and wellness options available to people living with myasthenia gravis? Join us at the San Francisco Bay Area Community Health Fair!

This free event can help you and your loved ones navigate MG. Hear from and talk with medical professionals, access educational and wellness resources, and meet others in the MG Community. Connect with each other, share stories and guidance, and learn more about managing this disease.

Each event includes educational presentations by MG experts, time to network and get to know others in the MG Community, and a chance to visit exhibitors.

Learn from experts about treatment options and strategies for managing MG, ask support group leaders your questions, connect with local businesses that specialize in patient and caregiver needs, and connect with others who know what you’re going through.

The Bethesda, MD, Support Group  meets the third Saturday of the month from 10:00AM to 12:00PM Eastern Time via Zoom.  Meetings are:  Sept. 21; Oct. 19; Nov. 16; Dec. 21, 2024; Jan. 18, 2025; Feb. 15, Mar. 15 at 10:00AM.

Both the Bethesda, MD, MG Support Group and our sister group, the Glen Burnie, MD, Support Group are meetings of persons with MG, MG caregivers, and any person who wants to know more about MG to discuss treatments, medications, how we’re coping with MG, etc., via ZOOM.  Eventually the Bethesda Group hopes to be able to return to in-person meetings at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda as well as continuing ZOOM meetings.  Our meetings on ZOOM and when in-person are very informal.  I usually send the meeting ZOOM link information the weekend before the meeting.  We try to carry a positive emphasis about our common disability.  Anyone is welcome at both meetings.

MGFA’s MG Walk 

MG Walks raise critical funds for myasthenia gravis research, education, and resources for those affected by MG. But this isn’t your average fundraising walk! Join the MG Community for a morning of fun and fundraising that is accessible to all. Expect music, games, activities, snacks, and time to connect with friends new and old. MG may be a rare disease, but you don’t have to go it alone!
