The MG Walk is dedicated to creating awareness, renewing hope, and generating a vast network of community and support, all while raising important funds for the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America (MGFA). The MG Walk puts the power directly into the hands of MG patients, and allows everyone battling this illness to become the driving force behind funding for MG research, and ultimately, in finding a cure. In addition to fundraising, the MG Walk also allows patients with MG to open up and discuss their journey in a safe and nurturing environment, many for the first time, while experiencing an overwhelming sense of community from their loved ones and fellow MG patients. Join us as we come together to raise vital funds that go to supporting the tens of thousands of Americans who live with this rare disease every day.
MG Walk 2021 registration will open soon! You can join an existing team, or start your own! Then, all that’s left is to personalize your fundraising page, share your connection to MG, and tell your story of why you have joined the fight to stop MG…one step at a time.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING 2021 MG WALKS
Thank you for your support of the 2020 MG Walk! As you know, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ALL of our 2020 MG Walks were combined with our MGFA Together We Stand virtual event which was held on October 10, 2020. We made this decision for the health and safety of our participants, sponsors, volunteers, and staff. We hope you were able to join us for that broadcast event, but if not, here is the video.
Furthermore, due to the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have decided to move ALL 2021 MG Walks into the fall timeframe beginning in September and going through December. Our goal is to host in-person events this fall, but of course we will take the necessary precautions and make decisions about in-person in the next few months. As always, your safety is and will continue to be our primary concern. The 2021 MG Walk dates will be available soon so please continue to check back.
All donations and fundraising for this year’s MG Walks will benefit the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America and help to support research, awareness, and advocacy.
You can mail any donations to:
